Cosmetic Surgery to reduce the size or to enlarge the Nose for Proper Looks

#rhinoplasty, #nosesurgeon, #nosereshapingclinic, #nosejobcost, #nosereduction, #augmentationrhinoplasty, #Delhi, #India
Some people are not born with perfectly sized noses. Enlarged noses cause attention of people on them and not on any other part of the face. People that have such large noses try to hide their nose while being photographed or they try to avoid being a part of a photo saying that they don’t possess a photogenic face. The size of nose is a cause of humiliation for them.

Cosmetic surgeons perform reduction rhinoplasty to reduce the size of nose of the patient. This surgery can reduce the size of nose completely or can concentrate on specific areas that need to be smaller such as the tip of nose, nostrils, a hump or a bump on bridges and so on. Surgeons remove the cartilage or bone to achieve the desired size of nose.

Surgeons can take closed incisions inside the nostrils that would not be visible after surgery. In some cases they need to take incisions on outside or visible area of nose as well. Surgeons take a small incision between the nostrils that is almost invisible after surgery. These incisions allow the surgeon to remove excessive bone and cartilage from specific areas of nose to get the desired shape of tip and other parts of nose.
The skin on the nose is not trimmed down during the surgery as it takes the desired profile adjusting it to the changed shape of nose by shrinking naturally. Thus patients can get a reshaped nose that would be in proper proportion to other facial parts.
Similarly, if someone has a nose that is too small compared to other facial parts, cosmetic surgeons perform augmentation rhinoplasty to enlarge the size of nose bringing it to the proper proportion with other facial parts.
These surgeries can also be designed to tackle breathing problems by reshaping the nasal structure and correcting natural airway for breathing as well apart from reshaping of nose.

When is The Right Time to Travel after Nose Surgery?

#rhinoplasty, #nosesurgery, #nosejobcost, #nosereshaping, #clinic, #delhi, #india
When seeking a facial Plastic or Cosmetic Surgeon in India to perform your Nose Surgery, finding the best surgeon for your requirements is the first and the foremost important thing to do. After you have done the research, you might be able to find out the best surgeon in the national capital, New Delhi.  If you have consulted the doctor and are ready to fly to India to undergo this procedure then do find out whether or not you can travel right after the surgery.

In the last few years, the number of people traveling to India to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures has increased like never before. More and more people who wish to have better nose shape and size visit the country and undergo the knife. It is not uncommon for patients to ask the surgeon whether it will be safe for them to travel after their procedure. Well, the answer usually depends on the circumstances, the procedure and the patient.

It is common for a plastic surgeon to prefer to have their patients stay at the same place for at least a few weeks followed by the cosmetic surgery so that they can follow-up with the doctor in case of any concern or query. One of the main concerns that most patients have is how the high altitude can affect their after-surgery nose, particularly when their options for medical care during travel are either limited or nil. Some airlines do not even let the patients board the plane until otherwise mentioned by the doctor. Make sure you do check with your airlines to understand their policies for safe and secure travel prior to booking the ticket.

Here are some of the most common risks if you travel after nose surgery.

Bleeding

There is a discontinuity in the skin of the area where surgery is performed during the first week until scar formation takes place. The pressure fluctuation in the plane makes a patient more susceptible to the minor bleeding during this time because of the change in the circulatory pressure. Even though this is rare, the main concern is the limited access to medical care if a vessel were to start to bleed.

Discomfort

If a patient is given a green signal to travel a few days after the procedure, there is a possibility that they may experience discomfort while flying on high altitude. An increase in sinus pressure can occur on the basis of the procedure; however, use of saline spray might alleviate this discomfort.

Along with the above-mentioned risks, patients are also on the risk of developing infection and blood clots. So, make sure you discuss with your plastic surgeon when is the right time to travel after nose surgery.

Iraqi Girl with Two Noses Undergoes a Rare Surgery in Delhi

Benafsha, a 17-year-old girl from Iraq, had inborn nose deformity, wherein, instead of one, she had two nose bones. In a rare surgery, she underwent a rare reconstructive surgery in the national capital, wherein the old nose bones were broken away and the new nose was constructed, skull bones, and bones around eyes were cut to reshape it.
“The family had come from Iraq with very high hopes, but the situation of the girl was very unusual, it was a kind of medical challenge for us. Obviously, a reconstruction surgery was her only treatment, but what she required was one of the rarest surgeries.
The procedure she underwent involved osteotomies, where a bone is cut to change its alignment or length. The old nose bones had to be broken and a new nose is constructed, also, the skull bones had to be cut to reshape. To reshape bones around her nose and eyes we did osteotomies of the skull bones and bones around the eyes, and to reconstruct the nose at the mid-line, we had to use the rib graft,” said Dr Ajaya Kashyap, Medical Director, KAS Medical Centre.
While the condition was not giving Benafsha any serious health complications, appearing different from others was doing no good to her mental health, shared her family. Apart from low self-esteem, complex, and dejection had crept in her personality. Her family wanted to help her look normal and get rid of the de-shape, thus she was brought to India.
Post surgery Benafsha is doing fine and looking forward to going back to school.
“When we started off from Iraq all we hoped was to help our daughter with her sadness. But what we actually received here is beyond expectations. For the first time, we saw our daughter so happy. For us, the surgery has changed everything. Now we can help our daughter settle in her life in whichever way she wants, without feeling insecure about her looks,” said Benafsha’s father.

Why You Want a Rhinoplasty: Best Rhinoplasty India

Noses get noticed. How can they not? Because your nose is the central, and often defining characteristic of your face, there are several good reasons you might be considering a rhinoplasty surgery. The most common reasons to undergo this procedure include:

1.   Cosmetics
Some people are just born with a crooked, bumpy, or otherwise prominent nose. This can lead to feelings of self-consciousness and low self-esteem. Rhinoplasty can reduce, straighten, and smooth out any nose to compliment the face on which it sits. This has the benefit of boosting self confidence as well as overall emotional well being. Some of the most common cosmetic complaints that a patient seeking rhinoplasty states include the following:

·         My nose is too big.
·         My nose is too thick.
·         My nose is too thin.
·         The tip is too pointy.
·         The tip is upturned, or drooping.
·         My nostrils are too wide or flared.
·         There's a bump on the bridge.
·         My nose isn't symmetrical.

2.   Accidents
Accidents happen, and they have a way of happening to noses. Whether it's from a fall, car crash, or sports injury, rhinoplasty can correct damage to the nose. From an aesthetic perspective, you should have your nose assessed once the swelling from your accident has subsided. That way, you’ll have less of a chance of over-correction.

3.   Breathing issues
Rhinoplasty can also sometimes be used to help with breathing difficulties. The most common cause of breathing issues is a deviated septum, which can also be referred to as a “nostril collapse.” This often leads to chronic snoring. Rhinoplasty can fix this easily, and in cases like this, is often covered by health insurance.

4.   Sinus problems
Not only can a deviated septum cause snoring and breathing issues, it can also cause more severe medical concerns. Serious sinus infections and sinusitis, an inflammation of the sinuses, can be caused by a deviated septum. If an issue such as these is discovered, your surgeon will schedule you for a specific type of rhinoplasty, called a septoplasty to address the problem.
