Some people are not born with perfectly sized noses. Enlarged noses cause attention of people on them and not on any other part of the face. People that have such large noses try to hide their nose while being photographed or they try to avoid being a part of a photo saying that they don’t possess a photogenic face. The size of nose is a cause of humiliation for them.

Cosmetic surgeons perform reduction rhinoplasty to reduce the size of nose of the patient. This surgery can reduce the size of nose completely or can concentrate on specific areas that need to be smaller such as the tip of nose, nostrils, a hump or a bump on bridges and so on. Surgeons remove the cartilage or bone to achieve the desired size of nose.

Surgeons can take closed incisions inside the nostrils that would not be visible after surgery. In some cases they need to take incisions on outside or visible area of nose as well. Surgeons take a small incision between the nostrils that is almost invisible after surgery. These incisions allow the surgeon to remove excessive bone and cartilage from specific areas of nose to get the desired shape of tip and other parts of nose.
The skin on the nose is not trimmed down during the surgery as it takes the desired profile adjusting it to the changed shape of nose by shrinking naturally. Thus patients can get a reshaped nose that would be in proper proportion to other facial parts.
Similarly, if someone has a nose that is too small compared to other facial parts, cosmetic surgeons perform augmentation rhinoplasty to enlarge the size of nose bringing it to the proper proportion with other facial parts.
These surgeries can also be designed to tackle breathing problems by reshaping the nasal structure and correcting natural airway for breathing as well apart from reshaping of nose.

#rhinoplasty, #nosesurgery, #nosejobcost, #nosereshaping, #clinic, #delhi, #india
When seeking a facial Plastic or Cosmetic Surgeon in India to perform your Nose Surgery, finding the best surgeon for your requirements is the first and the foremost important thing to do. After you have done the research, you might be able to find out the best surgeon in the national capital, New Delhi.  If you have consulted the doctor and are ready to fly to India to undergo this procedure then do find out whether or not you can travel right after the surgery.

In the last few years, the number of people traveling to India to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures has increased like never before. More and more people who wish to have better nose shape and size visit the country and undergo the knife. It is not uncommon for patients to ask the surgeon whether it will be safe for them to travel after their procedure. Well, the answer usually depends on the circumstances, the procedure and the patient.

It is common for a plastic surgeon to prefer to have their patients stay at the same place for at least a few weeks followed by the cosmetic surgery so that they can follow-up with the doctor in case of any concern or query. One of the main concerns that most patients have is how the high altitude can affect their after-surgery nose, particularly when their options for medical care during travel are either limited or nil. Some airlines do not even let the patients board the plane until otherwise mentioned by the doctor. Make sure you do check with your airlines to understand their policies for safe and secure travel prior to booking the ticket.

Here are some of the most common risks if you travel after nose surgery.

Bleeding

There is a discontinuity in the skin of the area where surgery is performed during the first week until scar formation takes place. The pressure fluctuation in the plane makes a patient more susceptible to the minor bleeding during this time because of the change in the circulatory pressure. Even though this is rare, the main concern is the limited access to medical care if a vessel were to start to bleed.

Discomfort

If a patient is given a green signal to travel a few days after the procedure, there is a possibility that they may experience discomfort while flying on high altitude. An increase in sinus pressure can occur on the basis of the procedure; however, use of saline spray might alleviate this discomfort.

Along with the above-mentioned risks, patients are also on the risk of developing infection and blood clots. So, make sure you discuss with your plastic surgeon when is the right time to travel after nose surgery.
