Cosmetic Surgery to reduce the size or to enlarge the Nose for Proper Looks

#rhinoplasty, #nosesurgeon, #nosereshapingclinic, #nosejobcost, #nosereduction, #augmentationrhinoplasty, #Delhi, #India
Some people are not born with perfectly sized noses. Enlarged noses cause attention of people on them and not on any other part of the face. People that have such large noses try to hide their nose while being photographed or they try to avoid being a part of a photo saying that they don’t possess a photogenic face. The size of nose is a cause of humiliation for them.

Cosmetic surgeons perform reduction rhinoplasty to reduce the size of nose of the patient. This surgery can reduce the size of nose completely or can concentrate on specific areas that need to be smaller such as the tip of nose, nostrils, a hump or a bump on bridges and so on. Surgeons remove the cartilage or bone to achieve the desired size of nose.

Surgeons can take closed incisions inside the nostrils that would not be visible after surgery. In some cases they need to take incisions on outside or visible area of nose as well. Surgeons take a small incision between the nostrils that is almost invisible after surgery. These incisions allow the surgeon to remove excessive bone and cartilage from specific areas of nose to get the desired shape of tip and other parts of nose.
The skin on the nose is not trimmed down during the surgery as it takes the desired profile adjusting it to the changed shape of nose by shrinking naturally. Thus patients can get a reshaped nose that would be in proper proportion to other facial parts.
Similarly, if someone has a nose that is too small compared to other facial parts, cosmetic surgeons perform augmentation rhinoplasty to enlarge the size of nose bringing it to the proper proportion with other facial parts.
These surgeries can also be designed to tackle breathing problems by reshaping the nasal structure and correcting natural airway for breathing as well apart from reshaping of nose.

When is The Right Time to Travel after Nose Surgery?

#rhinoplasty, #nosesurgery, #nosejobcost, #nosereshaping, #clinic, #delhi, #india
When seeking a facial Plastic or Cosmetic Surgeon in India to perform your Nose Surgery, finding the best surgeon for your requirements is the first and the foremost important thing to do. After you have done the research, you might be able to find out the best surgeon in the national capital, New Delhi.  If you have consulted the doctor and are ready to fly to India to undergo this procedure then do find out whether or not you can travel right after the surgery.

In the last few years, the number of people traveling to India to undergo cosmetic surgery procedures has increased like never before. More and more people who wish to have better nose shape and size visit the country and undergo the knife. It is not uncommon for patients to ask the surgeon whether it will be safe for them to travel after their procedure. Well, the answer usually depends on the circumstances, the procedure and the patient.

It is common for a plastic surgeon to prefer to have their patients stay at the same place for at least a few weeks followed by the cosmetic surgery so that they can follow-up with the doctor in case of any concern or query. One of the main concerns that most patients have is how the high altitude can affect their after-surgery nose, particularly when their options for medical care during travel are either limited or nil. Some airlines do not even let the patients board the plane until otherwise mentioned by the doctor. Make sure you do check with your airlines to understand their policies for safe and secure travel prior to booking the ticket.

Here are some of the most common risks if you travel after nose surgery.

Bleeding

There is a discontinuity in the skin of the area where surgery is performed during the first week until scar formation takes place. The pressure fluctuation in the plane makes a patient more susceptible to the minor bleeding during this time because of the change in the circulatory pressure. Even though this is rare, the main concern is the limited access to medical care if a vessel were to start to bleed.

Discomfort

If a patient is given a green signal to travel a few days after the procedure, there is a possibility that they may experience discomfort while flying on high altitude. An increase in sinus pressure can occur on the basis of the procedure; however, use of saline spray might alleviate this discomfort.

Along with the above-mentioned risks, patients are also on the risk of developing infection and blood clots. So, make sure you discuss with your plastic surgeon when is the right time to travel after nose surgery.

Iraqi Girl with Two Noses Undergoes a Rare Surgery in Delhi

delhi, iraqi, noses, surgery, undergoes, rhinoplasty, india, surgeon
Benafsha, a 17-year-old girl from Iraq, had inborn nose deformity, wherein, instead of one, she had two nose bones. In a rare surgery, she underwent a rare reconstructive surgery in the national capital, wherein the old nose bones were broken away and the new nose was constructed, skull bones, and bones around eyes were cut to reshape it.
“The family had come from Iraq with very high hopes, but the situation of the girl was very unusual, it was a kind of medical challenge for us. Obviously, a reconstruction surgery was her only treatment, but what she required was one of the rarest surgeries.
The procedure she underwent involved osteotomies, where a bone is cut to change its alignment or length. The old nose bones had to be broken and a new nose is constructed, also, the skull bones had to be cut to reshape. To reshape bones around her nose and eyes we did osteotomies of the skull bones and bones around the eyes, and to reconstruct the nose at the mid-line, we had to use the rib graft,” said Dr Ajaya Kashyap, Medical Director, KAS Medical Centre.
While the condition was not giving Benafsha any serious health complications, appearing different from others was doing no good to her mental health, shared her family. Apart from low self-esteem, complex, and dejection had crept in her personality. Her family wanted to help her look normal and get rid of the de-shape, thus she was brought to India.
Post surgery Benafsha is doing fine and looking forward to going back to school.
“When we started off from Iraq all we hoped was to help our daughter with her sadness. But what we actually received here is beyond expectations. For the first time, we saw our daughter so happy. For us, the surgery has changed everything. Now we can help our daughter settle in her life in whichever way she wants, without feeling insecure about her looks,” said Benafsha’s father.

Three Reasons to Undergo Revision Rhinoplasty

#cosmeticsurgery, #revisionrhinoplasty, #nosejob, #noseplasticsurgery, #nosesurgery, #nosesurgerycost, #plasticsurgery, #openrhinoplasty, #closedrhinoplasty, #rhinoplasty, #rhinoplastycostinindia, #rhinoplastysurgeons, #Delhi, #India, #VasantVihar

There are different types of rhinoplasty procedures. Revision Rhinoplasty is one such type and is necessary in cases where the original procedure was not able to achieve the desired results.

Problems with the actual surgery can be a result of inadequate communication between the patient and the surgeon, poor planning and technical issues with the healing and surgery. The results of this type of nose surgery depend largely on the plastic surgeon you choose. The plastic surgeons in India have expertise in performing revision nose surgery provided you choose the one with great care. Also, the reasonable cost of the treatment makes INDIA the most sought after nations among patients seeking revision nose job.

Some of the most common problems that can occur from primary nose surgery include hanging columella, retracted nostrils, polybeak deformity, inverted V deformity, pinched nasal tip, or open roof deformity. Any such problem can affect the entire appearance of the nose and the ability of the person to breathe.

Below you will learn about the pinched nasal tip, hanging columella and open roof deformity

Pinched Nasal Tip

It is the condition in which the nasal tip becomes unnaturally narrow after the nose surgery. The condition can be consequential to the over resection of the cartilages that form the nasal tip. This, in turn, weakens the side wall of the nose, and over the period of time, the tip becomes pinched. It can also become pinched if the plastic surgeon narrows the cartilages with the incision into the nasal tip cartilage known as dome division method or with the sutures.A Pinched nasal tip can be improved by revision rhinoplasty by reconstructing the nasal tip cartilages with the grafts either from the ear cartilage, nasal septum or rib cartilage.

Open Roof Deformity

It occurs when the actual nose surgery did not adequately narrow the nasal bones. Revision nose surgery can improve this condition by performing osteotomies and narrowing the bones of the nose optimally. This can be done by closed revision nose job.

Retracted Nostrils or Hanging Columella

It refers to the relationship between the nostrils and the middle part of the nasal tip. Some patients develop hanging columella after undergoing nose surgery. It is possible to correct this condition with revision rhinoplasty by removing more tissue from the central columella part or adding cartilage to the nostrils called alar rim.

Irrespective of the problem resulting from the actual nose surgery procedure, revision rhinoplasty can correct provided it is performed by an experienced, board-certified and trained plastic surgeon in India.

This is mainly because the distribution of the development cycle is random, and every hair is in the phase of development at a particular point of time.

Three Advantages of Open Rhinoplasty

#cosmeticsurgery, #nosejob, #noseplasticsurgery, #nosesurgery, #nosesurgerycost, #plasticsurgery, #openrhinoplasty, #closedrhinoplasty, #rhinoplasty, #rhinoplastycostinindia, #rhinoplastysurgeons, #Delhi, #India, #VasantVihar

Open Rhinoplasty is one of the methods to perform nose surgery. In this technique, cartilages of the nose are exposed by removing the back of the skin. This is where a small incision is made on the columella by the surgeon. It is the column of the skin between the two nostrils. Several additional incisions are made inside the nose. In most cases, external incisions are made in a zigzag pattern so that it is inconspicuous from plain sight.

When your plastic surgeon is performing an open nose surgery, the lower third of the nose is visible. The cartilage at the tip and the lower part of the nose are the parts on which the surgeon works. Once the surgeon has access to the cartilages, he can reduce, modify and reshape them.

There are several advantages that are related to open rhinoplasty.  Here are some of the many benefits associated with open nose surgery.

Allows improvement of the nasal in severe and complex cases
Given that the surgeon is able to visible the entire nasal structure, the nasal tip cartilage can be easily modified and reshaped by sight and not feel.

Placement of the cartilage graft becomes easy

Grafting is done using cartilage from other body parts, namely behind the ear, for building a nasal bridge. This surgery can be performed easily with an open nose surgery method. It is primarily because of this reason that grafting is usually done in open nose surgeries then closed nasal surgery. The surgeon has better control when it comes to the placement of the graft and chances of graft movement are less. This method might also be the much better option for a revision nose surgery procedure depending on what has to be corrected.

It is easy to perform open nose surgery than the closed rhinoplasty method

open rhinoplasty surgery, closed rhinoplasty
By exposing and accessing the cartilages of the nose to make the internal parts of the nose visible, it will be much easier for the plastic surgeon to perform the surgery. It becomes possible for the surgeon to understand the anatomy and make necessary changes.

It is these above-mentioned advantages that make open rhinoplasty highly popular among plastic surgeons. If you are thinking of undergoing nose surgery in India then you can be assured of getting the most effective and lasting results. The cost of open nose surgery In India is lesser in comparison to other parts of the world.

Why You Want a Rhinoplasty: Best Rhinoplasty India

Noses get noticed. How can they not? Because your nose is the central, and often defining characteristic of your face, there are several good reasons you might be considering a rhinoplasty surgery. The most common reasons to undergo this procedure include:

1.   Cosmetics
Some people are just born with a crooked, bumpy, or otherwise prominent nose. This can lead to feelings of self-consciousness and low self-esteem. Rhinoplasty can reduce, straighten, and smooth out any nose to compliment the face on which it sits. This has the benefit of boosting self confidence as well as overall emotional well being. Some of the most common cosmetic complaints that a patient seeking rhinoplasty states include the following:

·         My nose is too big.
·         My nose is too thick.
·         My nose is too thin.
·         The tip is too pointy.
·         The tip is upturned, or drooping.
·         My nostrils are too wide or flared.
·         There's a bump on the bridge.
·         My nose isn't symmetrical.

2.   Accidents
Accidents happen, and they have a way of happening to noses. Whether it's from a fall, car crash, or sports injury, rhinoplasty can correct damage to the nose. From an aesthetic perspective, you should have your nose assessed once the swelling from your accident has subsided. That way, you’ll have less of a chance of over-correction.

3.   Breathing issues
Rhinoplasty can also sometimes be used to help with breathing difficulties. The most common cause of breathing issues is a deviated septum, which can also be referred to as a “nostril collapse.” This often leads to chronic snoring. Rhinoplasty can fix this easily, and in cases like this, is often covered by health insurance.

4.   Sinus problems
Not only can a deviated septum cause snoring and breathing issues, it can also cause more severe medical concerns. Serious sinus infections and sinusitis, an inflammation of the sinuses, can be caused by a deviated septum. If an issue such as these is discovered, your surgeon will schedule you for a specific type of rhinoplasty, called a septoplasty to address the problem.
